In times past I have asked nursing students to identify with a commercial - I've received comments like Zoom, Zoom, Zoom (Mazda speeding through country side seemed to relate to zooming through nursing class).

Other ideas were "You've come a long way, baby" as students were getting ready to graduate and lastly "You can do it!!!"

I love it when students step out of themselves, use their imagination and have some fun. "Plop, plop, fizz, fizz, oh, what a relief it is" was one I could relate to as I was completing graduate school.
